Mini Blue Flower Tutorial

Hello everyone!

I'm here with my new tutorial for you!
Today I'm going to show you how to make those gentle mini flowers which I've used to decorate my Bоuble Christmas Card!

 So let's start!

First of all, you need a piece of  Zephyr Silk Foam! As I said previously it's very soft and easily manipulated foam and you don't need any iron to shape it!

You already know that I'm a happy owner of the Whimsy Stamps Rose Petal Flower Die Set and I would love to use it again. These dies give such unlimited possibilities!!!

Cut out 3 petals of the smallest die shape.

Using light blue and yellow oil pastels from your set, colour the petals like this on both sides:

Now it's time to shape our petals. You can make this by gently stretching the foam with your fingers on the top side of the petal. I did it in the three points along the edge:

In this picture below you can see the folds in progress:

Next step is to fold 2 double head stamens and glue their strings together.  In this way you'll create a little stem.

After, assemble the petals around the stamens overlapping. You can see how can I adhered
the first petal...

the second one...

 and the third one.

There is my whole little flower.

And some more:

Have a lovely week all of you!

Hugs,

Little Angel

Hello everyone,

Tracy here sharing a card I made using lots of yummy goodies.  The image was cut out using LDRS Creative Fancy Rectangles and Layers die set, one of my favourites,  Snowy Day Border Die Set.

I also made some poinsettias using Zephyr Silk Foam and added beautiful      centres and finished with a wax cord bow.

I have used some new lace in store and Scrapiniec Holly Jolly holly leaves from the Large Wreath set.  I also used the 3D balls in large and medium and a dusting of snow tex.

I also added a rhinestone crystal snowflake and the LDRS Creative Word CHRISTMAS which was diecut onto white shrink film and shrunk with my heat gun.

Hope you like it.

Hugs Tracy x

I would like to show you a card I did to welcome a little person. I chose papers suitable from the Pion Design "Patchwork of life" collection is so cute, that I could not constrain myself. Flowers are made of iranian foam and coloured with oil-based pastels suit to colours of papers. The coronet I made using Rosy Owl dies

See you next time.

A winter card with snow globe

 Hello everyone!

I am totally a person for warm and sunny weather. In winter, when it's snowing, an icy wind is blowing I love to look out my window and enjoy the nature but I don't really like being outdoors. But when it comes to crafting I love to add a lot of frost to my creations. And so I also added some to the card I am sharing with you today.

For the base I used one of the sheets from the Winter Feelings #59 paper pad by Studio Light. It's full of fun and frosty designs. To add even more frost I used Frantage Chunky White on the edges to add a frost pattern.

Across this paper I've put a piece of the Rebecca lace.

As the main element of my card I didn't go with an image this time but this snowglobe. It's made using the snowglobe die by Joycrafts. I've die cut the houses from light and dark grey cardstock and added another layer of white for some snow. The paper with the falling snow is another sheet from the Winter Feelings paper pad. I also added a few of the stars confetti here.

The frame and the bottom of the snowglobe were cut from silver glitter cardstock. It goes so great with an icy color scheme. To make the delicate pattern of the bottom pop out a bit more I used white cardstock behind the bottom.

On the left side I've put some trees behind the snowglobe. I used the birch trees die by Joycrafts to cut them and a white gelly marker to paint in the details through the holes in the die.

This cute Tilda with Snowheart by Magnolia is an older image but I thought it goes so perfectly with my card, I just had to use her.

On the bottom right of my card I've used some turquoise wax cord, white pixie blossoms and some of the white 5mm glass stamen. I only used the ends here, glueing the directly onto my card. They remind of me of ice covered berries.

On the top right I've put one of the Paper Art Labels by Dutch Doobadoo behind the snowglobe. It looks like  a moon to me and just fits into the scene. I've tied some turquoise ribbon to it and added more berries and a die cut star to it.

Wishing all of you a happy sunday!
 Hugs,
Kathrin

Penguin Christmas Sweetheart

Back to loving the new Maja Design papers "Joyous Winterdays".  I don't have much left and I got the whole collection!!!   😲  This card was sooooo fun!!  For some reason it took awhile to come together but hey ... sometimes that's what being creative is all about right?  hee hee  Well, that's my excuse anyway.  😀

I CAN'T STOP WITH THE PENGUINS!!   Seems to be my theme this year.  LOL!  I suspect I'm not alone!  I've so enjoyed coloring them up and I don't think I'm done yet!!  ha ha ha!!  This little cutie is again a Whimsy image called "Penguin Christmas Sweetheart" which I've colored with my Copics.  How do you like the pom-pom on the hat?!!  ha ha ha!!  I love it!!  I've also added "MERRY" with the new Joy "Scrabble Stamp and Die" set.  This is a must have in your stash!!

Here I've made some more Foamiran flowers but I've used a poinsettia die that I had in my stash.  I shared this because I wanted to show you that you really can use any die with this foam.  I could only cut 2 layers at a time instead of 4 because the dies aren't as deep as others that are sold in the store but it still works.  So don't tell yourself you need to buy everything all at once.  Just start with a few sheets of foam and work your way into more foam .... and then more dies.  hee hee

I've used a few Scrapiniec pieces on my card and embossed both using VersaMark's "Dazzle" and ultra thick embossing powder.  In real life and up close there's a pretty shimmer on the tatting Christmas stars and mistletoe.

Ok!!!  On to more Christmas cards.  LOL!  I think this year I should  make it mandatory to complete 2 xmas cards a month.  Well.....I don't think I could do that.  There's way too many other pretty things out in the crafting world at other times of the year.  hee hee

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the weekend!

The most Wonderful time of the Year

Good Morning,

With just under 3 weeks to go until the big day I have been busy making more Christmas cards & having a go at making more Poinsettias out of foamiran. I must say I am getting a little addicted to making these as they are so easy & look just fab.

I have used the Pion Design CW 6x6 paper sheet called Good Tidings, I have used all 3 of the patterned papers & have cut out the little Santa to fit into the Scrapiniec Mistletoe Signboard frame.

I have added some snowtex to the Poinsettia along with the other flowers to give them the frosty winter look. I do love this stuff it's such fun but I do seem to get it everywhere, I think its just me though lol

Thank you for stopping by & come back tomorrow for more gorgeous inspiration from the DT.

Have a lovely day

Emma x
